VIRTUAL CARE REGISTERED NURSE - TRIAGE

In addition to your clinical role, you’ll have an opportunity to shape Healthpitality’s care model. You’ll collaborate with our clinical and growth teams to share insights and feedback to continuously improve the quality of care we provide.

 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual triage assessments, utilizing established protocols and guidelines, to determine the urgency and nature of healthcare needs for hospitality employees

• Provide services during extended hours in accordance with the needs of our patient population

• Collect and document accurate and comprehensive health information, including symptoms, medical history, and vital signs, to inform the decision-making process

• Assess and prioritize incoming virtual care requests, coordinating with healthcare providers, telehealth team members, and external resources as needed

• Provide evidence-based advice, education, and self-care instructions to individuals based on their triage assessment, promoting optimal health and well-being

• Identify and escalate urgent or emergent cases, ensuring timely intervention and appropriate referrals for higher levels of care

 

Qualifications:

​

• Valid South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Must be located in South Carolina​

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing

• Proven experience as a triage nurse, preferably in a virtual care or telehealth setting

• Sound clinical knowledge and ability to assess, evaluate, and prioritize healthcare needs across a variety of conditions and symptoms

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions and provide appropriate triage recommendations

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with individuals seeking virtual care

• Ability to work independently, demonstrate flexibility, and adapt to a fast-paced virtual care environment

 

Salary:

​

• $65,000 - $75,000/year
