PART-TIME VIRTUAL CARE COLLABORATING PHYSICIAN
Summary:

Healthpitality is seeking a skilled and compassionate Collaborating Physician to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing medical oversight and collaboration for our innovative telehealth services tailored specifically for hospitality employees.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our team of advanced practice providers to ensure high-quality and evidence-based care delivery

Provide medical oversight, review treatment plans, and offer clinical guidance to ensure the safe and effective provision of healthcare services

Engage in regular meetings and virtual consultations with the telehealth team to discuss complex cases, review patient progress, and address any medical concerns
-
Support and adhere to Healthpitality’s policies, protocols, and quality assurance standards to promote exceptional patient care
-
Participate in case reviews, provide medical input for quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and best practices

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including mental health counselors and pharmacists, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for patients

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements, clinical guidelines, and telehealth practices to enhance the quality of care delivered
-
Provide expertise and guidance in addressing medical emergencies and the appropriate escalation of care when needed

Collaborate with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing telehealth and medical practice
-
Expectation of 8-10 hours per month
Qualifications:
-
Valid Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
-
Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in South Carolina

Must be located in South Carolina​

Preference for candidates with multi-state licenses and the ability to practice in neighboring states

Board certification in a primary care or relevant specialty

Experience providing medical oversight, collaborating with advanced practice providers, or working in a telehealth setting is preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals
-
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities to guide and support the delivery of patient-centered care

Familiarity with telehealth technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems
-
Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and culturally competent care to hospitality employees
-
Dedication to staying current with medical research, advancements, and industry best practices
Salary:

$12,000/year
